my little baby arrived at six minutes past ten o'clock in the morning on saturday, after a remarkably quick and relatively not-bad pain-wise labour! even the midwives, who are supposed to be more objective than us parents, said he was a "star" for being so calm and cooperative.

nothing new to report here, really - went to see pan's labyrinth yesterday, which was good, but very violent, very intense, and very not suitable for a pregnant lady.

andrew and i went for a long walk up a couple of big hills on saturday. here are some pretty flowers we saw:
